  • AXA Smart Voyage

    The insured must be a Resident of Singapore and at least 18 years of age on the effective date of the Policy to purchase an individual adult Policy.

    Insured Child(ren) must be:

    • unemployed
    • unmarried
    • legal Child(ren), including stepChild(ren) and legally adopted Child(ren)
    • under the age of 18 years, or up to 25 years if still studying full-time in a recognized institution of higher learning.

    Application for a Child who is under 18 years old and travelling alone must be made in the name of the parent or guardian. The benefit limits applicable will be those of a Child Insured under a Family Cover.

    Yes. You may purchase on their behalf but in this scenario, you are the payer.

    For a Single Trip, Family refers to a maximum of 2 adults travelling with any number of accompanied Children. The adults need not be related but the Child(ren) must be related to either one of the adults.

    For an Annual Trip, Family refers to You and/or Your legal spouse and any number of Your Children insured under the same Policy. You and Your spouse are not required to travel together. However, any one of Your Children who travel must be accompanied by at least You or Your spouse for each trip.

    Yes. A travel policy covers other risks such as

    1. overseas medical and travel expenses liability,
    2. travel inconveniences like baggage delay, travel delay, misconnection, trip curtailment etc.

    Thus it is advisable to purchase a travel policy that caters specifically to your travel needs.

    The cover commences on the day of the journey to the intended destination overseas except for Trip Cancellation or Trip Postponement benefits which commences after Policy has been purchased and within 30 days before the date of commencement of the trip.

    Single Trip plan to the selected region of travel shall not exceed 182 consecutive days. For Annual Trip plan to the selected region, travel shall not exceed 92 days for each trip.

    No. Policy excludes all form of pre-existing conditions if you have been diagnosed, received treatment or has been prescribed with drugs within 6 months preceding the trip.

    Yes. You may purchase travel insurance on their behalf but in this scenario, you are the payer.

    Family is defined as you, your immediate family (if added to the policy) and extended family (if added to the policy) and the children you have informed us about. You can include up to four children.

    Immediate family - means your spouse, children, parent and parent-in-law, sibling, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, son-in-law and daughter-in-law, grandchild and grandparent and grandparent-in-law.

    Extended family - means your or your spouse's aunts, uncles and cousins.

    Please note that children must travel with at least one insured adult for the duration of the trip for that child's cover to be valid.
