What is Citi PayAll?

Citi PayAll is an easy way to manage your cashflow and earn extra frequent flyer points (via Citi Miles or Citi ThankYouSM Points) at a small fee on personal expenses, even those typically not eligible for credit card payments.

FAQs about Citi PayAll

Citi PayAll is a service that enables Citi Cardholders to make payments to various Payees/Payment Categories using an eligible Citi Credit Card and earn miles or reward points with service. It allows you to pay for categories such rent, education expenses, taxes, condominium management fees, electricity bills, insurance premiums and goods and services.

There is an option for payment with zero service fees, however you will not earn any base or bonus miles or rewards points on payments without service fees.

Citi PayAll allows you to pay your rent, education expenses, taxes, condominium management fee, electricity bills, insurance bills and goods and services using your Citi Credit Card. Your recipients do not have to be a Citibank customer and will receive the funds via a bank fund transfer.

Please note that Citi PayAll currently supports payments to local bank accounts only.

It depends on whether you choose Service Fee payment option or Zero Service Fee payment option.

1. Service Fee payment option will allow you to earn reward points or miles or cash back for each payment, at the base earn rate of the card used.

2. Zero Service Fee payment option here refers to the use of Citi PayAll product without having the customer incur an additional fee for the transaction made. The customer will only be paying the amount in the transaction but will not be receiving any other rewards e.g. base points or miles or additional bonus points or miles or any gift vouchers.

Yes. When setting up your payment simply select the specific date of transfer as long as it is at least 4 business days away. For Rent, education expenses and condominium management fee, you also have the option to make this a monthly recurring payment for the next 24 months.

Payments take 4 business days to be processed.

You should NOT make payments under Citi PayAll in respect of (i) any loan/debt repayments such as but not limited to mortgage repayments, credit card payments and loans, (ii) any cryptocurrency related transactions, gambling and casino-related transactions or such other transactions that we may determine at our discretion

FAQs related to Citi PayAll Payments

You can transact an amount not exceeding 95% of your permanent credit limit, subject to the maximum permissible monthly limits below. The aggregate sum of Citi PayAll payments within the calendar month must not exceed your permanent credit limit.

You can set up a Citi PayAll at any time using your Citi Mobile® App. However, if you choose to enroll via an email or SMS invitation, please note that the offer is valid for 30 days from the day you receive either an email or SMS.

You will receive an email, Push Notification or SMS notification alert when the payment is set up and when the payment is successfully charged to your card. Successful payments will be reflected in your credit card statement.

If you have made a recurring payment, you will also receive a notification alert every month when the transaction is charged to your card.

We will also notify you if your payment fails to go through.

You will receive an email, Push Notification or SMS notification when your payment is unsuccessful. In this case, you will not be able to proceed with Citi PayAll. Please make alternative arrangements to ensure your recipient gets paid on time.

If your payment fails to go through, the transaction amount and the accompanying processing fee will be refunded to your card.

If you made an accidental payment to the wrong recipient which was processed successfully, the transaction amount with the processing fee accompanying the transaction will not be refundable and will still appear on your statement. As we do not carry out any independent verification on the Payee Account, reference numbers and/or other payment details provided by you, please ensure you input the correct details.

As all Citi PayAll payment transactions will not be processed via any of the card associations (for example, Mastercard® or Visa), the chargeback dispute resolution process of the card associations will not be available to you and accordingly, you will not be able to raise a chargeback dispute in respect of any payment transaction. All claims and disputes against a payee should be pursued directly with the applicable payee.

You cannot amend your transactions once it has been set up.

However, should you wish to cancel the transaction, please log into your Citi Mobile® App. You can review and cancel your existing payment instructions by selecting the PayAll option under “Payments” tab. Please cancel the transaction at least 7 calendar days before your next payment due date as cancellation will not be processed once the payment is charged to your card.

FAQs on the Citi PayAll Q2 2025 Promotion

Based on the campaign details, CitiPhone officers will not be able to advise on the first 3,000 eligible customers that have qualified for the vouchers.

Citi will inform customers of their voucher eligibility if they are among the first 3,000 customers within twelve (12) weeks from the end of the Qualifying Period (18 April to 31 August 2025).

Eligible Cardmember will be notified via Push Notification and/or SMS containing redemption details of the Gift within twelve (12) weeks from the end of the Qualifying Period if the Qualifying Criteria in respect of the Gift has been satisfied provided that Citibank may extend the date of crediting with notice.

No, the Citi PayAll Payment Set-up Date and Payment Charged Date must both fall within the Promotion Period in order to qualify as Eligible Transaction. For the avoidance of doubt, the Citi PayAll Payment Setup Date is the date on which the payment is set up and the Citi PayAll Payment Charged Date is the date where Citi charges the payment to your Eligible Card which will be later than the date on which the payment is set up.

You should schedule your PayAll payment date latest on or before 4 September 2025.

Supplementary cardholders are not eligible to participate in this Promotion and any spend by supplementary cardholders will not be considered.

Yes, as long as the Citi PayAll Payment Set-up Date and Payment Charged Date must both fall within the Promotion Period in order to qualify as Eligible Transaction.
