No. Your new card will have a different credit card number.
For your convenience, your existing card(s) will continue to be active for 3 weeks following the issuance of your Platinum/WORLD/Signature card(s). Please destroy your existing primary and supplementary cards upon receipt of new your new card(s).

Any standing orders/ Citibank One Bill for recurring payments on your existing credit card(s) will have to be re-established by providing the respective billing organizations your new Platinum/WORLD/Signature card number(s). To help facilitate this transfer, the welcome pack that comes with the Platinum/WORLD/Signature card will have a Citibank One Bill form containing the major merchants with which you might have recurring payments. Kindly fill in and submit that form so we can transfer your recurring payment arrangements to your new card.

Recurring/Citibank One Bill arrangements for the selected merchants will be automatically transferred to your new card. Please click here for the detailed list of merchants.

Recurring billings for insurance policies that are distributed by Citibank Singapore Limited will be automatically transferred to your new card. Please click here for the detailed list of policies.

Yes. The period for which they are valid will also be as per the existing card.

When your card is upgraded, you will have to re-enroll for Citi Alerts with your new Platinum/WORLD/Signature card number to continue with this service. You can re-enroll through the following ways:

  • Call our 24-Hour CitiPhone Banking at 6225 5225 or
  • Login to Citibank Online with your cardnumber and ATM/credit card PIN and select 'Citi Alerts' on the left menu for instant enrolment with your Platinum/WORLD/Signature cardnumber.

Yes. Your supplementary cardholder(s) (if any) need to provide their consent in order for your card & your supplementary card(s) to be upgraded.

No. For your card to be upgraded, consent must be jointly provided by yourself and your supplementary cardholder(s).
