Lost or Stolen Cards

If your card is lost, stolen or used by any other person or your PIN (Personal Identification Number) and/or Telephone Banking PIN (TPIN) code is disclosed to any other person, you must immediately notify us by calling 6337 2484.

S$100 Liability on
Unauthorised Charges
Online or offline, if someone uses your card without consent, you’ll only be liable for a maximum of S$100.
It is important to inform us immediately once you discover your card is not in your possession.

If your wallet was stolen or lost, you will need to report the loss of the wallet to the police, and the loss of your card to the card issuer.

The liability of credit Cardholders due to unauthorized transactions prior to the Cardholder notifying the bank of the loss was limited to $100, provided the Cardholder:
  • had not been negligent;
  • had not acted fraudulently; and
  • had immediately notified the card-issuing bank upon discovering that the card was lost or stolen.

In the event you are unable to do so, please bring your NRIC to the following credit bureau´s registered office to obtain the report.

The free credit report does not apply to applicants of Citi secured cards, Citi Corporate Cards (Sole Corporate Liability), Citi Purchasing Card and Citi Travel Account.
The magnetic stripe on your credit or debit card contains sensitive payment card data. To protect your information, the magnetic stripe of your credit or debit card should not be swiped on Point-of-Sale readers or Electronic Cash Registers which is known as “double swiping”.

Inserting or dipping a chip-enabled credit or debit card in a payment card terminal for payment is not considered as double swiping.
