The minimum amount and minimum tenure of a fixed deposit will depend on the type of fixed deposit and the bank. However, banks or financial companies usually offer higher interest to depositors for longer tenures and higher deposit amounts.
When you select the 'Reinvest on Maturity' option, a new deposit gets created upon the maturity of your current deposit. The entire amount (including the original investment amount and the interest earned) will be reinvested when the tenure of the fixed deposit ends.
