Definitions

  • Open tickets refers to travel ticket with no fixed travel dates or times, but a fixed validity period.
  • Open-jaw refers to flights to one city with return from another eligible city (e.g. A to B, C to A. If B and C are neighboring airports in the same city, this will not be seen as open-jaw tickets.
  • Open returns refer to flexible tickets as you do not need to specify the exact time and date you want to return on.
  • Layover is short stop or break on one single journey/itinerary/trip while onto your final destination. Any stop(s) between your origin city and your final destination city and is less than 24 hours for international itinerary or less than four hours for domestic itinerary is a layover.
  • Stop-over refers to long stop and is more than 24 hours. An example is going from Singapore to Osaka and staying for multiple days in Tokyo, the connecting city, either en-route to or from Osaka.
  • Circle trips refers to air-travel in which the point of origin is also the ultimate destination but it involves more than one stopovers. For example: A to B, B to C, C to D and D to A.
  • A connection refers to changing plans in an airport, most frequently an airline hub. Any layover of less than 24 hours is considered a connection.
  • Non-restricted fares refer to full-fare tickets and such tickets are not cheapest fare and usually fully refundable with complete flexibility.
  • A codeshare flight refers to a flight marketed and ticketed by one airline (Marketing Carrier) but operated another airline (Operating Carrier), typically because the marketing airline does not directly service a certain flight route. For example, a flight marketed and ticketed by Japan Airlines but operated by American Airline is a codeshare flight.

I General Conditions

  • 1. Bookings are allowed with travel dates within 6 months from booking date.
  • 2. Offer is valid for Citi ULTIMA main Cardholders only.
  • 3. To qualify for the complimentary companion ticket:
    • The paid ticket must be purchased on non-restricted fare on a participating airline and charged to a valid Citi ULTIMA Card
    • All travel must start and end in city where the card is issued
    • All travel must be ticketed in the country where card is issued
    • The Cardholder who purchases the companion ticket(s) must be one of the travellers
    • The companion using the complimentary ticket must travel with and have the same itinerary as the cardholder with the paid ticket purchased ticket and companion ticket must be issued at the same time
    • The complimentary companion ticket is based on lowest available fare booking class
    • Only one companion ticket can be redeemed in the same itinerary
    • Only one stop-over is allowed in the itinerary.
    • One stop-over and open jaw are not allowed concurrently.
  • 4. Open tickets, open returns, circle trips, and round the world trips are not permitted.
  • 5. Complimentary companion ticket and discount are only applicable to airfares and does not include taxes, surcharges or any other fees.
  • 6. Discounted airfares are applicable for all booking class for business and first class, subject to availability.

II. Reservations

  • 1. Minimum 72 hour advance reservation is required. Reservations, ticketing and departures less than 72 hours are not permitted.
  • 2. Bookings must be done through a Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Relationship Manager.

III. Charges and Cancellation

  • 1. At the time of booking, all applicable taxes, surcharges and fees for paid and complimentary companion tickets will be charged to the Cardholder's Citi ULTIMA Card.
  • 2. Ticket issuance fee per ticket is US$60 and is non-refundable. Ticket issuance fee for paid ticket and complimentary companion ticket will be borne by cardholder .
  • 3. Itinerary change and refund are subjected to the terms and conditions of the refund, cancellation & itinerary change policies of the airlines.
  • 4. Once paid and complimentary companion tickets are issued, any deviations or changes in routing by cardholder will be at the cardholders expense. This includes:
    • Re-issuance fee of US$60 per ticket, amendment and cancellation fee, taxes and surcharges and ticket price difference of both paid and companion tickets).

IV. Miscellaneous

  • 1. Companion tickets are non-transferable and non-endorsable.
  • 2. Tickets are not interchangeable for travel on other airlines. Any travel on non-participating airlines must be ticketed and paid for separately. Codeshare flights do not apply unless otherwise stated. Codes share flights are allowed only on Lufthansa and Japan Airlines for one leg per outbound and inbound flight when alternative routes are not available.
  • 3. Privileges cannot be combined or applied with other promotions, discounts, offers or internet fares.
  • 4. Published rates for participating airlines is applicable for guests if they want to book via Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Relationship Manager and charged to a valid Citi ULTIMA Card.
  • 5. The bank and participating airlines reserve the right to vary the terms and conditions of this offer.

LUXURY AIRPORT TRANSFER SERVICE

I General Conditions

  • 1. Valid for Citi Ultima main cardholders only.
  • 2. Each Citi Ultima cardholder is entitled to complimentary one-way airport limousine services per itinerary.
    • An itinerary is defined as either a one way or return to and from the destination city within the cardholder’s country of issuance.
  • 3. The service is available for cardholders who are travelling with any carriers on a business or first class ticket purchased with Citibank Ultima card at participating airports in Asia Pacific.
  • 4. Luxury airport transfer services have a complimentary transfer allowance, which is based on driven kilometers in each city. Any excess charges beyond the complimentary transfer allowance will be advised to Cardholder upon confirmation of the booking. Cardholder will be charged for excess charge per kilometer.
  • 5. Additional charges for extra-stops, cancellation/amendment fees and waiting time charges will apply and are to be borne by cardholder. All charges must be made on Citi ULTIMA Card.
  • 6. Luxury airport transfer imposes limits on the number of passengers per car and/or the number of luggage per passenger. This service is limited to a maximum of 2 large suitcases and 4 passengers per car.

II Reservations

  • 1. Bookings must be made through a Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Relationship Manager or where available, the Citi ULTIMA Concierge.
  • 2. All bookings is subject to availability.
  • 3. Please provide number of passenger and luggage during booking.
  • 4. Booking for the services must be made at least 72 hours prior to commencement of travel. The bank reserves the right to reject booking of services if less than 72 hours before commencement of travel.

III Cancellation and Charges

  • 1. There is no charge for any cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance of the service and capped entitlement will not be considered utilized.
  • 2. For any cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the scheduled service, there is a 100% charge equivalent to full invoice.
  • 3. There is no charge for any amendments to the services made more than 48 hours in advance of the service. For any amendment made less than 48 hours in advance of the service, this will be considered as a cancellation and a new booking. Hence, one redemption will be considered utilized. Cardholder will need to pay the additional fees that is required for the new booking.
  • 4. New bookings will be subjected to the standard Terms and Conditions, additional fees that is required will be applicable.
  • 5. The bank and participating partner will review each case to determine for any exceptional circumstances.
  • 6. Additional charges will apply for additional luggage, a larger vehicle or child or infant car seat if required. Please provide number of passenger, luggage and number of infant seats required during booking. Please note that provision of infant seats are mandatory in some destinations.

IV Miscellaneous

  • 1. Complimentary service is not exchangeable for cash or in kind and not applicable in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts or privileges.
  • 2. The bank and participating partner reserve the right to vary the terms and conditions of this offer.
  • 3. It is the responsibility of the Cardholder travelling to allow enough time to get to the airport and check-in before the check-in counter closes. Local traffic conditions and unforeseen circumstances can affect travel time, and the cardholder accepts those risks when using the airport transfer service.
  • 4. Cardholder acknowledges that luxury airport service is provided by third party suppliers, and not by the bank. The vehicle used shall be an executive-type sedan. Vehicle make and model are subject to supplier’s fleet availability, and the bank does not guarantee a specific vehicle model. The bank is not responsible for the acts or omissions of such suppliers, or for any deficiency in the facilities and services offered. In particular, the bank has no liability for loss, personal injury, or death incurred during the use of such facilities and services unless:
    • such loss, personal injury or death is / are caused solely by the bank's negligence; or
    • such liability cannot be excluded under law (in which case it is limited to the maximum extent permitted under the law). In some countries, services may come with a non-excludable guarantee or warranty that they will be provided with due care and skill. The nature and application of these guarantees or warranties will depend on the relevant country.

AIRPORT MEET & GREET SERVICE

I General Conditions

  • 1. Valid for Citi ULTIMA main cardholder (“Cardholder”) only.
  • 2. All charges must be made on a Citi ULTIMA card.
  • 3. Each Cardholder is entitled to one complimentary Meet & Assist Service per itinerary.
  • 4. An itinerary is defined as either a one way or return to and fro the destination country from the cardholder’s country of issuance. This is inclusive of itineraries with more than 1 stopover eg. Singapore cardholder travelling to Thailand, from Thailand to Taiwan and Taiwan back to Singapore will be able to enjoy the Meet and Assist service in Thailand.
  • 5. The service is available for Cardholders who are travelling on business class and above for full fledge carriers only. Cardholders who travel on budget carriers will not be eligible to this benefit.   • 6. The complimentary airport Meet and Assist Service is applicable for a single traveler. Cardholder will be charged for additional travelers.
    • In the event Cardholder comes in a group, Cardholder will have to break away from their group for the service. If Cardholder wish to continue the services with their group, the group will be considered as additional passengers and subjected to additional charges.
    • Please note that in the event additional passengers are presented to the agent without prior notification of travel, Cardholder will be charged accordingly after the service is delivered.
    • In the event that Cardholder comes in a group or arrive with additional passengers without prior booking, Cardholder must sign ‘the change of service form’ which indicating the agreement for additional charge. If Cardholder refuse to sign the change of service form, the participating local agent reserves the right to reject servicing the additional passengers.

  • 2. Booking for the services must be made at least 72 hours prior to commencement of travel. Citibank reserves the right to reject booking of services if less than 72 hours before commencement of travel.

III Cancellation and Charges

Application process for APEC Business travel card


I Eligibility

  • ULTIMA Cardholders who have successfully applied and paid for the APEC Business Travel Card and who have made a qualifying spend in the 365 days preceding the cardholder's application for reimbursement under this promotion, will be reimbursed the APEC Business Travel Card application fee.
  • All applicants must be Singapore Citizens with a valid Singapore passport AND belong to one of the following groups:
    • Bona fide business persons (i.e. those who represent an economically-active business entity).
    • Members of professional bodies (e.g. doctors, lawyers, artists).
    • Public officers from Ministries, Government departments, economic agencies and statutory boards who need to travel in their official capacity.

  • Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Chile, China, Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam. III E-Application Process

  • Applicants may apply for the ABTC with their SingPass IDs on www.ica.gov.sg.
  • Click on 'eServices and Forms' on the top tab, select 'APEC Business Travel Card' and apply online via eABTC.
  • Applicant to pay the application fee of S$100 online with Citi ULTIMA Card (Main card account only). Fee will be reimbursed back into the same Citi ULTIMA Card (Main card account only) within 8 weeks from the submission of required documentation to the ULTIMA support email at ultima.sg@citi.com - see section 4 below.

IV Documents Required for E-Application Process

  • Citi ULTIMA Card (for online payment)
  • Digital photo image file of applicant with the following specifications:
    • JPEG format ('jpg' extension)
    • File size should be no more than 60kbytes
    • referred dimension of 400 x 514 pixels
  • Scanned signature image file
  • Supporting document (to prove eligibility), where applicable
  • SingPass ID
  • Valid Singapore Passport

V Processing

  • Required documents to be emailed to the ULTIMA support email at ultima.sg@citi.com for reimbursement:
    • Signed acknowledgment form (overleaf)
    • Image of official final APEC card from ICA ABTC
  • The fee will be reimbursed back into the Citi ULTIMA Card used to make payment within 4 weeks from their submission of the above documents to the ULTIMA support email at ultima.sg@citi.com.
  • ICA may take up to 3 months to approve the application. Applicant will receive an official email once their application is approved. The card will be mailed to the successful applicant by registered post when it is ready. Some cases may require a longer processing time, due to the pre-clearance from the participating APEC economies. Note: No counter applications will be accepted.


Terms & Conditions

  • "ABTC" refers to the APEC Business Travel Card.
  • "Qualifying Spend" means a charge made which does not arise from any Equal Payment Plan purchases, refunded, disputed, unauthorised or fraudulent retail purchases, Quick Cash transactions and monthly transactions, cash advance, balance transfers, annual card membership fees, funds transfers using the Eligible Card as source of funds (for example, payments via Citibank Online or via any other channel or agent (such as a third party agent for payment of bills) whether for bill payments or otherwise), interest, goods and services taxes, late payment fees and any other form of service / miscellaneous fees.
  • "Eligible Cardholder" means a main cardholder of a Citi ULTIMA Card who:
    • Is a Singapore Citizen;
    • Has a valid Singapore passport; and
    • Belongs to one of the following groups:
      • Bona fide business persons (i.e. those who represent an economically-active business entity);
      • Members of professional bodies (e.g. doctors, lawyers, artists); or
      • Public officers from Ministries, Government departments, economic agencies and statutory boards who need to travel in their official capacity.
  • An Eligible Cardholder who (a) successfully applies for an ABTC in his name in 2017; (b) charges the ABTC application fee of S$100 to his Citi ULTIMA Card; (c) submits the documents referred to in clause 5 below to Citi; and (d) has made a Qualifying Spend of a minimum of S$200,000 (or its equivalent in foreign currency) in the 365 days immediately preceding the submission of the documents referred to in clause 5 below to Citi, will be reimbursed his full ABTC application fee by Citi(the "Privilege").
  • To documents that an Eligible Cardholder is required to submit to Citi to receive the Privilege are (a) the Citi ULTIMA Card Privilege - Complimentary APEC Business Travel Card Acknowledgement Form and (b) an image of his approved ABTC card from the Immigration Checkpoints Authority of Singapore. Documents are to be submitted via email to ultima.sg@citi.com.
  • An Eligible Cardholder who complies with clauses 4 and 5 above will receive the Privilege within 8 weeks from the submission of all required documents. The Privilege will be credited into the Eligible Cardholder's Citi ULTIMA Card account. The Eligible Cardholder must have a valid Citi ULTIMA Card as a main cardholder to receive the Privilege.
  • The Eligible Cardholder's application for the ABTC is subject to terms and conditions of the ABTC at www.ica.gov.sg. Citi makes no promise, representation or warranty that the Eligible Cardholder's application for the ABTC will be successful.
  • The Eligible Cardholder agrees that he applies for the ABTC at his own accord and he will not hold Citi liable or responsible in any way (whether to the Eligible Cardholder or any other party) for an unsuccessful application for the ABTC.
  • The use of the ABTC may be subject to additional terms and conditions of APEC.
  • Citi reserves the right, at its reasonable discretion, not to accord this Privilege, or to terminate or amend this Privilege or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice or assigning any reason thereof.
  • The Privilege shall not be exchangeable for cash, other forms of credit or gift in kind.
  • Citi reserves the right to substitute the Privilege with any other gift, benefit or item of equal or similar value selected by Citi in its absolute discretion.
  • Citi is not an agent of the merchant and assumes no liability or responsibility for the quality, merchantability or the fitness for any purpose or any other aspect of the products and/or services provided by any participating merchant, site or service provider or other authorized agent. Notwithstanding anything herein, Citi shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any loss, injury, damage or harm suffered by or in connection with the products and/or services provided by any participating merchant, site or service provider or other authorized agent, and eligible customer should seek redress from and direct any complaints or comments, in respect of such goods and services, to them.
  • Citi's decision on all matters relating to this promotion will be at its sole and absolute discretion and will be final, conclusive and binding on all participants. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to or in connection with this privilege, these terms and conditions will prevail.
  • All references to Citi shall, where the context requires, also include the affiliates, employees, directors, officers and agents of Citi.

I. General Conditions

  • A maximum of two complimentary nights are allowed per Cardholder per outward bound trip from the country where the Citi ULTIMA Card is issued, regardless of the number of cities visited or hotels stayed at in that same outward bound trip.
  • Accordingly, for the avoidance of doubt, no further complimentary nights will be granted for different cities visited, or for different hotels stayed at, in the same outward bound trip even if there is a time lapse between the visits or stays.


  • To qualify for the complimentary night stay:
    • A minimum of 2 consecutive nights stay is required to enjoy the complimentary 2nd night.
    • The complimentary night benefit is only valid for booking at hotels that are NOT located in the city where the Citi ULTIMA Card is issued.
    • The Citi ULTIMA Card used to book the reservation must be presented at check-in, and for full payment upon check out.
    • The Cardholder who booked the stays must be one of the staying guests.
    • Complimentary night is non-transferable and not valid for stays at another hotel.
    • Complimentary night must be utilized during the same stay as the purchased nights.
    • Purchased and complimentary nights must be of the same room types.
    • Only one active booking for any specific date is allowed for the same cardholder.
      • For the avoidance of doubt, the complimentary night cannot be combined with another "stay a minimum night and get free night" type of offer run by the hotels directly
  • There are no cash credits for any unused free nights if the guest checks out early.
  • Rates are per room, per night, based on single/double occupancy and availability at time of reservation and do not include additional per room, per night surcharges that may be imposed or applicable state/local taxes.
  • Complimentary night has no refund value.
  • All room rates will be based on Best Available Rates and cannot be combined with any other offers or packages.
  • All rates and availability for hotels are provided by the bank's designated travel platform.
  • The cost of the complimentary one-night stay will be computed as the average nightly rate for the entire stay.
  • Complimentary night is only applicable to room rates and does not include taxes, surcharges or any other fees.

II. Reservations

  • Booking, amendments and cancellations must be done through a Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Relationship Manager, or where available, the Citi ULTIMA Concierge.
  • To be eligible for the complimentary 2nd night benefit, booking must be completed at least 3 days (72 hours) prior to the check-in date by 3pm local hotel time. For example, to check-in on May 8th, the booking must be completed on or before May 5th by 3pm local hotel time. Bookings made less than 3 days (72 hours) prior to the check-in date by 3pm local hotel time are not eligible for the benefit.
  • Walk-in guest(s) without prior reservations will not be granted the complimentary night's stay benefit.
  • Reservations are subject to room availability on the designated travel platform used by the bank at the time that the reservation is confirmed and not at the time of quotation. Blackout dates may apply. Cardholder's preferred dates cannot be guaranteed.
  • If more than two bookings are made per outward-bound trip, the first two bookings based on check-in date will be eligible for the free night benefit, unless otherwise specified.

Room Upgrade Terms and Conditions

  • Room upgrades are based on a one-category room upgrade and are subject to availability at time of check-in.
  • Room categories are determined by the hotel and are subject to change.
  • Upgrades cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival.
  • Certain room categories may not be eligible for upgrade.
  • Upgrades have no monetary value.
  • The Hotel reserves the right to charge additional fees for room upgrades higher than one category above reserved room type.

III. Cancellation and Charges

  • Cancellations and amendments must be made through a Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Relationship Manager, or where available, the Citi ULTIMA Concierge.
  • Cancellation and amendment fees may apply subject to the cancellation and amendment policies of the respective Participating Hotels.
  • Cancellation and no show fees will be charged to the Citi ULTIMA Card account.
  • Once reservations are confirmed, all associated cost (amendment fee, cancellation fee, taxes and surcharges and room price difference) will be borne by Cardholder.
    • Any change or modification will be considered a new booking and subject to current rates and availability.
    • Cancellation and amendments must be made at least 7 calendar days before date of arrival by calling a Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Relationship Manager, or where available, the Citi ULTIMA Concierge. Where the Participating Hotels has a different cancellation or amendment policy requiring more than 7 calendar days notification, the request is subject to the policy of the Participating Hotel.

IV. Miscellaneous

  • Complimentary one night stay is based on accommodation for maximum occupancy per room type and is exclusive of all applicable tax and service charges for such accommodation. Applicable taxes, service charges, meals and all other incidentals will be charged to Cardholder directly by the respective Participating Hotel.
  • Complimentary night is not exchangeable for cash or in kind and not applicable in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts, internet room rates or privileges.
  • The bank and Participating Hotels reserve the right to amend and exercise the final interpretation of the terms and conditions of this offer.

II Miscellaneous

I. General Conditions

  • Offer (“Golf Privilege”) is fully subsidized by Visa and not a direct offer from the golf clubs (“Participating Clubs”).
  • Golf Privilege is valid for Citi ULTIMA main cardholders (“Cardholders”) with cards issued in Asia Pacific.
  • Cardholders are entitled to book and play for a maximum of 5 times per calendar year in Japan.
  • For Sentosa Golf Club, a minimum of 1 paying guest per cardholder is required. Usage is capped at a maximum of 10 cardholder bookings per week.
    For Mission Hills Shenzhen/Dongguan, a minimum of 1 night’s stay is required for each game.
  • Complimentary green fees in 280 participating overseas golf clubs are limited to main Cardholders only, and capped at a maximum of 3 times per calendar year.
  • There is no mandatory paying guest required in order for cardholders to enjoy the golf privilege with the exception of Sentosa Golf Club. However, a minimum number of golfers per flight may be required for booking to be processed as per golf club's policy.
  • Cardholder and his/her guests should hold valid golfer’s insurance as individual golf clubs may impose golf insurance requirement.
  • Cardholders must follow the terms and conditions of booking (set out in “Reservations” section below, or will not be granted access rights to the Participating Clubs.
  • Cardholders with existing golf game booked, are not allowed to book subsequent golf game/s until the current game has been played, regardless if Cardholders are booked as the main Cardholder or as a Guest in the booking submission.
  • For the 280 clubs with maximum of 3 times complimentary green fees per calendar year, cardholders, who are traveling outside of their issuing country, are allowed to book more than 1 golf games in their destination country/countries. This will still be subjected to the cap of 3 complimentary fees per calendar year.
  • Golf Privilege is not valid for use in conjunction with other non-Citi ULTIMA promotions, discounts or offers, and cannot be utilised for participation in corporate golf events, private golf events or golf tournaments.
  • Golf Privilege is valid for use when booked directly by a Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Relationship Manager, on behalf of Cardholders.
  • Accordingly and for the avoidance of doubt, Cardholders are not allowed to take over tee times transferred from other golfers/Participating Club members to make use of the Golf Privileges.
  • Cardholders must be present for their own booking made under their name.
  • Cardholders are not allowed to use this program to request a pairing, or to join a flight booked by other golfers/Participating Club members at any Participating Clubs, and such requests will not be entertained by Citibank. All pairings are at the sole discretion of, and administered by, the Participating Golf Clubs.
  • Cardholders understand and acknowledge that Participating Clubs will not entertain any direct correspondence/enquires, attempts for checking availability and bookings, attempts in securing tee time, transfer of confirmed tee time, and/or amendment of a confirmed golf booking from Cardholders. Citibank reserves the right to reject/cancel Cardholders’ complimentary golf booking if the Cardholders contact any Participating Clubs directly.

II Reservations

  • All bookings must be made through the Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Relationship Manager.
  • A status update on the golf booking request will be sent to Cardholders within 2 business days.
  • Golf Privilege is valid for weekdays and weekends, except public holidays. The policy for public holidays varies by golf clubs.
  • Minimum balls per flight may be required for tee-off by Participating Clubs in accordance with their club policy.
  • Bookings cannot be made less than 7 calendar days and more than 14 calendar days in advance before day of tee-off, not inclusive of day of tee-off. (As an example, tee-off on a Friday means booking must be made on Friday the week before). The following booking deadline apply for the specific golf clubs in the table below.

  • Acceptance of all golf bookings, pairings and changes to tee times will be at the discretion of the Participating Clubs, and are subject to availability. Cardholders will not be granted access rights to the Participating Clubs without prior bookings through the Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Relationship Manager.

III Fees and Charges

  • Complimentary green fees for Cardholders and one guest will be absorbed by Visa under the Golf Privileges in the 22 participating clubs with the exception of Sentosa Golf Club. A complimentary buggy per booking will be provided, if available.
  • Additional guests have to pay for caddie, turf mate, locker fee, insurance, taxes and all other ancillary and miscellaneous charges (“Other Usage Charges”) at normal published rates at the Participating Clubs where applicable, subject to the Participating Clubs’ terms and conditions.
  • Cardholders have to pay for caddie, turf mate, locker fee, insurance, taxes and all other ancillary and miscellaneous charges (“Other Usage Charges”) at normal published rates at the Participating Clubs where applicable, subject to the participating clubs terms and conditions.
  • All payment made in relation to usage of the Golf Privileges, and any Other Usage Charges incurred while utilizing the Golf Privileges, must be made with a Citi ULTIMA card.

IV Cancellation and Charges

  • Cancellations and/or amendments to bookings are strictly to be made through the Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Relationship Manager via phone, and not directly with the Participating Clubs.
  • Any cancellation and/or amendment to bookings must be made at least 3 working days prior to tee-off date, or as in accordance with golf club’s cancellation policy (as an example, confirmed bookings at Mission Hill are non-amendable and non-cancellable).
  • Cancellation made less than 3 working days or less than duration stated by club’s policy, late arrivals or non-shows shall be subjected to full published rates and penalty stipulated by the Participating Clubs. Penalty charges will be borne in full by Cardholders.
  • Amendment fee of US$10 + GST applies if changes are made to bookings after confirmation has been issued.
  • Rain check policy will apply as per Participating Clubs’ policy

V Miscellaneous

  • Golfers must have a valid handicap.
  • Golf Privileges are valid for golf rounds only. They do not provide Cardholders and their guests with access to the other recreational facilities at the Participating Clubs.
  • Cardholders understand and acknowledge that Participating Clubs will not entertain any correspondence/enquires, and/or attempts for bookings from Cardholders, in the event that Cardholders contact the Participating Clubs directly to book the Golf Privileges.
  • Cardholders acknowledge and agree that Citibank and Visa are not responsible for non-fulfilment of any privileges or any defect or lack in service or goods supplied by third parties, including the Participating Clubs. Accordingly, Cardholders irrevocably agree not to make any claim against Citibank and Visa in relation to any loss, damage, disappointment or distress of any kind arising from their use or attempted use of the Golf Privileges, including but not limited to failure or inadequacy of service or fulfilment of privileges by the Participating Clubs.
  • Citibank reserves the right at any time and without assigning any reason, to change or to cancel any Participating Club – it is the duty of the Cardholders to check the list of Participating Clubs prevailing at any time.
  • To the fullest extent permissible by law, each participating Cardholder releases Citibank and the respective Participating Clubs from any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense (including any claim for legal expenses) sustained or incurred by him/her in connection with his/her participation or attempted participation in the Golf Privileges.

I. General Conditions

  1. Offer (“Golf Privilege”) is valid for Citi ULTIMA Visa Card principal cardmembers (“Cardmembers”) with cards issued in Singapore.

  2. Cardmembers are entitled to the below, subject to availability of the participating golf club:

    1. Complimentary green fees and buggy for Cardmember and one (1) guest at participating golf clubs (“ Unlimited Games”);
    2. Complimentary green fees for Cardmember up to three (3) times per calendar year at participating golf clubs (“ Yearly Games”); and
    3. Two (2) complimentary green fees for Cardmember at Sentosa Golf Club Singapore per quarter (“Quarterly Games”).
  3. For Unlimited Games, Cardmembers are entitled to complimentary green fees and buggy for principal Cardmember and one (1) guest. Terms and conditions are applicable, including but not limited to the following:
    1. Cardmembers are entitled to book and play for a maximum of five (5) times per calendar year in Japan.
    2. If Mission Hills Shenzhen/Dongguan is a participating golf club at the time of booking, a minimum of one (1) night’s stay is required for each game.
    3. c)Buggy services are limited to availability and will be provided on a first come first served basis.

  4. For Yearly Games, Cardmembers are entitled to complimentary green fees in participating golf clubs worldwide. Complimentary green fees are limited to principal Cardmembers only, capped at a maximum of three (3) times per calendar year. View Participating clubs here.
  5. For Quarterly Games, Cardmembers are entitled to two (2) complimentary green fees per quarter at Sentosa Golf Club (“Qualifying Entitlements”) provided the following conditions are met:
    1. To enjoy the Qualifying Entitlements, Cardmembers must charge a minimum of S$25,000 in Qualifying Spend (as defined in clause 5(f) below) to his / her Citi ULTIMA card within the quarter (as set out below):
      • 1st quarter: From 1 January to 31 March
      • 2nd quarter: From 1 April to 30 June
      • 3rd quarter: From 1 July to 30 September
      • 4th quarter: From 1 October to 31 December
    2. Qualifying Entitlements will be given in the next quarter after Qualifying Spend is made.
      Illustration 1: Cardmember A charges S$25,000 in Qualifying Spend in 1st quarter, the Qualifying Entitlements will be awarded only in the 2nd quarter and can be utilised for booking only up till the end of the 3rd quarter.
    3. The Qualifying Entitlements are valid for use on weekdays only and can only be utilised for booking within two (2) quarters from the quarter the Qualifying Entitlement is earned. After such period, the Qualifying Entitlements can no longer be utilised for booking. The Qualifying Entitlements cannot be utilised for booking at any other golf clubs except for Sentosa Golf Club.
    4. The Qualifying Entitlements are non – transferable.
    5. Cardmembers are also not allowed to bring forward any Qualifying Entitlements for redemption even if the Cardmember charges more than the minimum sum of S$25,000 in Qualifying Spend in that quarter (i.e., Cardmembers are only entitled to the maximum of two (2) complimentary games in each quarter).
    6. “Qualifying Spend” refers to any retail transactions (including internet purchases) which do not arise from:
      1. any Equal Payment Plan (EPP) purchases;
      2. refunded/disputed/unauthorised/fraudulent retail purchases;
      3. Quick Cash and other instalment loans;
      4. Citi PayLite/Citi Flexibill/cash advance/quasi-cash transactions/balance transfers/annual card membership fees/interest/goods and services taxes,
      5. bill payments made using the Eligible Card as a source of funds;
      6. late payment fees;
      7. any other form of service/ miscellaneous fees; or
      8. Citi Payall transactions where the customer is not charged the Citi Payall service fee.
    7. For the purposes of meeting the Qualifying Spend to enjoy the Qualifying Entitlements for the Singapore Games, the Qualifying Spend may be made by both Principal and Supplementary Cardmembers.
  6. A minimum number of golfers per flight may be required for booking to be processed as per the respective golf club's policy.
  7. The Cardmember and his/her guests should hold valid golfer’s insurance as individual golf clubs may impose golf insurance requirement.

Cardmembers will not be granted access rights to the participating clubs without prior bookings through the Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Relationship Manager or Citi ULTIMA Lifestyle Concierge.

  6. Citibank reserves the right at any time and without assigning any reason, to change or to cancel any participating club. It is the duty of the Cardmember to check the list of participating clubs prevailing at any time.
  7. Citibank reserves the right to terminate the Golf Privileges at any time, and/or vary the terms and conditions governing this Golf Privileges from time to time.
  8. Citibank’s decision on all matters relating to the Golf Privileges will be at its discretion and will be final and binding on all customers.

Only Cardmembers whose card account is in good standing, as determined by Citibank, is entitled to participate in the Golf Privilege as at the date of commencement of the Golf Privilege or the date when a card is issued to him, whichever is the earlier. If the principal Cardmember's Citi ULTIMA card account is terminated (by the Cardmember or Citibank) at any time for any reason, the principal Cardmember and the Supplementary Cardmember will not be allowed to participate in the Golf Privilege and all unused Qualifying Entitlements in the Cardmember's account shall be cancelled.
  10. To the fullest extent permissible by law, each participating Cardmember releases Citibank and the respective participating clubs from any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense (including any claim for legal expenses) sustained or incurred by him/her in connection with his/her participation or attempted participation in the Golf Privileges.
