  • On / Off Function

    For added security, you may "activate or deactivate" the payment function on your Citibank Quick Pay Tag anytime using the following channels:

    • Online Banking:

      Login to Citibank Online → Services → Card Services.

    • Mobile Banking:

      Login to Citi Mobile → Services → Online Card Activation.

    • Phone Banking:

      Call CitiPhone Banking at 6225 5225.

    • SMS:

      To de-activate:

      SMS: Deact >space><last 4 digits of your Citibank Quick Pay Tag number> to 72484

      To activate:

      SMS: Act <space><last 4 digits of your Citibank Quick Pay Tag number> to 72484

      You will receive an SMS confirmation when your Citibank Quick Pay Tag has been activated/de-activated.

  • SMS Transaction Alerts:

    By default, you will receive an SMS alert for all Citibank Quick Pay Tag transactions greater than S$30. If you wish to lower the transaction threshold, please login to your account on Citibank Online and update your profile. Do note that changing the transaction threshold will affect the transaction alerts for all the Credit Cards you may hold.

  • Transaction Limit:

    Your Citibank Quick Pay Tag allows you to make transactions of up to S$100 without a signature. For transactions above S$100, please present your physical main Visa Card and your signature will be required.

  • Affix the Citibank Quick Pay Tag firmly onto the back of your phone

If you would like to place your Citibank Quick Pay Tag on a mobile device, we recommend placing it on the bottom of the mobile for its best performance.

If you have a mobile casing, simply place it at the bottom of the exterior of the casing.

Activate

Option 1: SMS

SMS ACT<space><4 digits of your Citibank Quick Pay Tag number> to 72484. If you are overseas, please SMS to +65 9657 2484.

Option 2: Online/Mobile Banking

Login to Citi Mobile or Citibank Online and select Card Services.

Yes, of course. First of all, the maximum transaction size is S$100. You can "activate" or "deactivate" Citibank Quick Pay Tag through 2-way SMS, Citibank Online, Citi Mobile or CitiPhone. In addition, you will receive a SMS alert for any transactions more than S$30 with the Citibank Quick Pay Tag.

No, to conduct a transaction, the cashier needs to key the amount into the terminal and activate the reader. The phone must also be held within 6cm of the contactless reader.

No, the terminals are designed to make only one transaction per card at a time.

No signature is required for Citibank Quick Pay Tag contactless transactions below S$100. For transactions above S$100, you will need to present your physical Citibank Credit Card and your signature will be required.

Yes, you will enjoy the same privileges on your Citibank Quick Pay Tag just like the main card it is tagged to. The Points / Miles / Cash Back that you earn using Citibank Quick Pay Tag will be added to your main card and can be redeemed under your main card account.

Example: If your Citibank Quick Pay Tag is tagged to Citibank PremierMiles Card, you earn miles just like you are using your Citibank PremierMiles Card.

Yes, you can also enjoy the same Citibank Card privileges by using your Citibank Quick Pay Tag if the merchants are also Visa payWave merchants.

e-Coupons are discount coupons that are issued to the Citibank Quick Pay Tag. These coupons are automatically redeemed when you use the Citibank Quick Pay Tag at the respective merchant.

Please call CitiPhone Banking at 6225 5225 to report the incident immediately just like you have misplaced or lost any other Citibank Cards.

Simply lift off the tag at the corner gently and peel it off your current phone before adhering it to your new handphone.

If the adhesive is no longer effective, please call CitiPhone Banking at 6225 5225 to request for a replacement of Citibank Quick Pay Tag.
