Citi

With effect from 30 June 2021, please be advised that Citibank Singapore Limited will cease the issuance of foreign currency demand drafts. The cessation of foreign currency demand drafts comes as a decision to phase out checks in an industry-wide effort. In recent years, foreign currency demand draft usage has declined and demand for payments via digital and online services has increased.

Kindly note that all foreign currency demand drafts issued prior to 30 June 2021 can continue to be presented for payment subject to their respective validity periods. For more details regarding the validity period of your foreign currency demand draft, please refer to the table below.

We would like to assure you that payments in foreign currencies can continue to be made conveniently via Telegraphic Transfers through all platforms (i.e. Citibank Online, CitiBusiness Online, Citi Mobile®App, or at Citi branches).
