A credit score is a numerical number which the lenders use to
measure your creditworthiness and ability to pay back the debts. It
is an independent assessment which is based on your credit history.
A credit score is measured on the scale of 1000 to 2000, where a
score of 2000 means you are least likely to default on your debt. A
credit score is an important factor which is considered when you
apply for a loan and therefore you should maintain a good credit
score at all times.
A credit limit is the maximum amount of the credit facility that the
lender allows you to use. The lender sets your credit score based on
your income level, credit history and current debts. However you can
ask your lender to increase the limit as per your usage. Maxing out
your credit limit adversely affects your credit score.
An Overlimit amount is the balance amount in excess to your combined
credit limit. It is an amount in addition to the minimum payment
that you make after every billing cycle. This over limit amount is
mentioned in your statement of account and should be paid
immediately. Additionally, you might have to pay an Over limit fee
whenever you exceed your credit limit.
Citibank offers you plenty of options to

- 6. Pay using AXS station or AXS phone application.

Whenever you make a successful payment through your credit card, you
will receive Citi Alerts in the form of SMS or Email notifications
on your registered mobile number and email address. Additionally,
you can also track your payments anytime and anywhere using the Citi
Mobile® App.
If you have a bank account with Citi, you can set up recurring
payment easily using your Citibank Online Bank Account. Once you
sign in, click on 'Payments & Transfers' and select 'Manage Payment
& Transactions', followed by 'Credit Card Recurring Payment'.
You can maximize your credit limit by simply filling up the Credit Limit Increase Form and updating your
latest income details in the same. If your income records reflect an

A credit score is a numerical number which the lenders use to
measure your creditworthiness and ability to pay back the debts. It
is an independent assessment which is based on your credit history.
A good credit score indicates that you are capable of paying your
debt and therefore you can expect to avail a loan at attractive rate
of interest.
However, a bad credit score impacts your eligibility by reducing
your creditworthiness. If your credit score is low, lenders hesitate
to offer you loans or would offer at high rate of interest.
