The Business Times weekend featured the Client Appreciation Dinner hosted by Citi Corporate Sales and Solutions in partnership with Citi Commercial Bank at The Grand Hyatt Hotel last Friday.
Head of Corporate Sales and Solutions for Singapore, Vandana Bhatter welcomed close to 200 guests who were treated to an evening of entertainment and 'Dancing with the Stars'. The key highlight of the event was picking up basic Waltz steps from the experts from The DanceSport Academy. Ballroom dancers Soon Kian Yong and Yap Zhi Xin, who have represented Singapore on the international arena, were engaged by Citi to teach clients the five basic Waltz steps. By the end of the night, guests were breezing through the rise and fall of the smooth progressive dance.
Guests were also entertained by local acoustic trio, Lemon Jelly Pop and emcee Alaric Tay, known for his performance on MediaCorp Channel 5’s satirical sitcom, The Noose. They were also treated to a surprise– a dessert bar at the show kitchen which was unveiled at the end of the dinner.
Vandana shared, "At Citi, we see ourselves as partners to our clients, helping them to tap into potential growth opportunities. Hosting this dinner is one way in which we are celebrating the successful partnership that we have built over the years."
Head of Citi Commercial Bank for Singapore, Lin Hsiu-Yi added, "Traditionally, this is a time when family members gather together to reaffirm family ties and a joyous occasion to strengthen bonds of friendship and community. This celebration is a way for Citi to show our appreciation towards our valued clients in a relaxed setting and build upon our relationship as thought partners and enablers of growth and progress."
