At Citi, the well-being of our employees and clients is our top priority. Since the start of the COVID-19 situation, we have been monitoring the developments closely and have progressively implemented precautionary measures at our workplace and branches in line with the latest Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines.

Some of the latest measures we have taken include:

  • Reducing traffic at some customer facing locations:
    • The following branches will be temporarily closed from 9 April (Thursday) until 4 May 2020 (Monday).
      • Woodlands Branch
      • Punggol Branch
      • Holland Village Branch
      • Asia Square Branch
    • Branches with revised operating hours are:
      • Jurong East and Capital Square Branches
        Mondays to Fridays 9:30am to 3:30pm. Closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
      • Parkway Parade Branch
        Mondays to Fridays 9:30am to 3:30pm, Saturdays 9:30am to 12pm and closed on Sundays.
      • Paragon Branch
        Mondays to Fridays 9:30am to 3:30pm.
        Level 1 open on Saturdays 9:30am to 12pm and closed on Sundays.
        Level 6 closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

      For vulnerable groups, such as the elderly and pregnant women, we have reserved 9:30am to 10:30am for you to perform your banking needs. Priority will also be given to you at all times.

    • All Instant Banking Centres are temporarily closed from 27 March (Friday) until 31 May 2020 (Sunday).
      • Bugis Instant Banking Centre
      • Boon Lay Instant Banking Centre
      • Tampines Instant Banking Centre
      • Changi Business Park Instant Banking Centre
  • Implementation of crowd control and safe distancing measures at all branches, including deploying of temporary social distancing markers on furniture and floor strips for queues.
  • Initiated our Business Continuity Plan to ensure continuity of service for our clients.
  • Working with our landlords on temperature checks for employees and visitors seeking to enter our office buildings as well as our branches.
  • Restricting international business travel.
  • Requiring employees who have family member(s) being served a Stay Home Notice to also work from home.
  • Increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of our offices, branch premises and ATMs as well as making hand sanitizers readily available.

While select branches and CitiPhone remain open and available, we strongly encourage our clients to use the Citi Mobile® App or Citibank Online at their convenience for banking services, such as checking of balances and transactions or making a payment, and updating of personal details. We are monitoring the situation closely, taking guidance from the relevant ministries and government agencies and are ready to respond as appropriate.

For the safety of our clients and staff, we encourage visitors who are feeling unwell or suspect that they may have been exposed to COVID-19, to avoid visiting our locations and to seek medical care promptly.
