  Beware of fraudulent emails
Some customers have received scam emails asking them to verify their account details. These emails contain links to fake websites that look similar to Citibank websites. These email scams known as "Phishing" are designed to trick customers into entering their confidential banking information.
 

How to protect yourself
Citibank will never send emails to customers to verify confidential, personal or account information. Therefore, do not reply to emails that request such information.
If you suspect you've been sent a fradulent email, contact your local Citibank customer service officer immediately or send a secure mail once you have signed on to Internet Banking.
If you believe that someone is trying to commit fraud by pretending to be a Citigroup business, please contact your local Citibank customer service officer immediately.

Important security tips:
Only sign on to Citibank Internet Banking by typing the entire Citibank website address into your browser. Never sign on to Internet Banking via a link from an email. For example, Singapore customers should type in "http://www.citibank.com.sg" into the browser address field before signing on to Internet Banking.
Install up-to-date anti-virus software, ad/spy-ware scanner and firewall on your computer.
Change your Citibank PIN on a regular basis. Never disclose your PIN to anyone, not even a bank officer.
