FAST (Fast And Secure Transfers) is the new and latest electronic funds transfer service that lets our Citibank customers pay anyone, anytime, in Singapore, almost instantly. Your fund transfers can be made speedily and conveniently via Citibank Online or with the Citi Mobile App (download from iTunes store or Google Play for your respective smart phones).
FAST fund transfers can be made to or from any of your personal Citibank Checking and Savings accounts. Please refer below for more details.
IMPORTANT: FAST fund transfers to and from Citibank Credit Card and Citibank Ready Credit accounts are currently unavailable.
Please ensure that the recipient and recipient bank account details are verified carefully before making your FAST fund transfer as funds are credited to the recipient’s bank account almost instantly.

FAST fund transfers can be made to and from your personal Citibank Checking and Savings accounts including:

FAST fund transfers cannot be made to and from:
- Citibank Ready Credit accounts
- Citibank Credit Card accounts
- All loan and credit line accounts
- Corporate and CitiBusiness accounts (outgoing)
Currently, FAST fund transfers can only be made to and from your personal Citibank Checking and Savings accounts: please refer to the list of accounts above. Transfers to and from Citibank Credit Card and Citibank Ready Credit accounts will be available only at a later date.
The sender will be notified (depending on his/her notification settings with his/her bank) by his/her bank that the attempted transaction has failed.
You will not be able to use either account as these are not available options under FAST. Transfers to and from Citibank Credit Card and Citibank Ready Credit accounts will be available only at a later date.

- Add a payee under the GIRO/MEPS/FAST option. You will need the relevant payee details such as

- Activate the payee using your Online Security Device
- Select the "Transfer via FAST" option when making a Payment/Transfer.
Yes, you will have to register for a Single User ID and Password via Citibank Online or Citi Mobile before being able to perform FAST fund transfers. You will also need an Online Security Device to add a FAST payee.
If you have previously added a payee for GIRO/MEPS transfers, you do not need to add a payee again.
Citi Mobile does not support this feature. Please login to Citibank Online using your computer/laptop to add a payee.

Yes, FAST fund transfer is available 24/7. In some cases, our officers may need to contact you to request for more information before your transaction can be processed. If further information is required, we will request for, and evaluate this information, in a timely manner.
Yes, you will receive a Citi Alert via email or SMS depending on your Citi Alert subscription settings.
Please login to Citibank Online, click on the “Messages” tab on the top right corner, and send us a message with a request to recover your funds and details of your transaction. Alternatively, please call our Citibank Hotline at 6225 5225 for assistance.
Please do note that Citibank will attempt to recover transferred funds to the best of our ability. However transferred funds are recoverable only at the discretion of the recipient bank, and subject to the consent of the recipient. As such, please do ensure due diligence in ensuring accuracy of recipient and recipient bank details before performing your transfer.
Citibank does not have this feature at this point in time. You can still continue to pay your bills using the "Pay billing organisations" service on Citibank Online and with the Citi Mobile app.

No, FAST can only be used for SGD fund transfers between bank accounts of participating banks in Singapore.
You can still continue to transfer/receive funds to/from non-participating banks via GIRO or MEPs.
MEPS lets you transfer funds from your Citibank account to another bank's account within Singapore on the same day, simply at a nominal charge of S$5 via Citibank Online.
You can make an instant fund transfer to CitiBusiness accounts by selecting "Transfer to another Citibank account".
1. Add Payee
Before you can perform a Payment and Transfer for the first time, you will need to add a Payee.
- Select 'Payments and Transfers' on your top navigation.
- You will be prompted to key your One-Time PIN1 (OTP). Once you have requested your One-Time PIN (OTP) via SMS or Online Security Device(OSD).
- Select a Payee Type and enter the relevant details.
- You will be prompted to authorize your transaction, follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.
- For adding Billing Organisation payees, you will need to authorize the payee setup with an Online Authorization Code (OAC).
- OAC can be sent via an SMS or a mailer. Alternatively, you can retrieve your OAC by calling our 24-Hour CitiPhone Banking with your Telephone-PIN (T-PIN).
2. Payment by Online Cheques1
Forget about writing a physical cheque, now you can do it virtually. Login to Citibank Online and provide us with the name of your payee and their address and we will issue and mail the cheque on your behalf.
3. Fund Transfer using GIRO/ MEPS2/FAST
FAST (Fast And Secure Transfers) is a mode of domestic funds transfer service that allows customers to pay anyone in Singapore, almost instantly. Start using this service by selecting the "Transfer via FAST" option when making a transfer to existing GIRO/MEPS/FAST payees on Citibank Online.
MEPS refer to a mode of transfer through the Monetary Authority of Singapore Electronic Payment System that allows you to transfer funds from your Citibank account to other banks account within Singapore on the same day, simply at a nominal charge of S$5.
You may also consider transferring your funds using GIRO which will take about 2 to 3 working days to be effected with no charges involved.
4. Perform Bill Payments3
Paying bills can be hassle-free. With over 120 billing organisations available, you can now pay your utilities bills, telecommunication bills, taxes and memberships fees easily. That's not all, you can also use your Citibank Credit Card to pay over 100 selected billing organisations.
5. Set up Citibank SMS Pay
Beat the queue and pay your Citibank Credit Card / Ready Credit bills using your non-Citibank account with just an SMS, a secure, convenient and easy way to pay your bills anytime, anywhere.
6. Remittances / Telegraphic Transfers
Transfer your funds to Banks overseas with ease and at a low cost flat fee. What's more, you will be able to view competitive foreign exchange rates online before confirming a transaction.
7. Performing a Citibank Global Transfer (CGT)4
Citibank Global Transfers is an online funds transfer service that allows you to transfer funds from your Citibank Checking, Savings or Ready Credit account to another Citibank account abroad instantly.
8. Electronic Payment of Shares
Electronic Payment of Shares (EPS) is a convenient way of paying for your share purchases and receiving payment from the sale of your shares via Citibank Online.
- Online cheques can only be sent to a payee in Singapore. There is no service fee incurred for issuing an online cheque. Once the cheque is issued, your account will be immediately debited for the cheque amount. If you would like to cancel the cheque, you will need to inform Citibank to cancel the cheque.
- MEPS Instructions received after 5pm will be processed and effected on the next business day.
- Payments to billing organisations using a Citibank Credit Card as source of funds will not earn any rewards and/or rebates under any Citibank rewards or loyalty programme.
- This is applicable only for selected billing organizations.
- This is only applicable for participating countries with Citibank Global Transfer.

Yes, you can debit your Citibank Credit Card to make a bill payment to selected billing organisations.
Citibank Global Transfer (CGT)
You can transfer up to SGD 50,000 to any Citibank account overseas by selecting "Citibank Global Transfer" as your Payee Type. Please ensure that the account details of the international account you wish to transfer to is on your payee list and has been activated with an Online Authorisation Code (OAC).
You can transfer funds out of Singapore or in a different currency within Singapore via Telegraphic Transfer to other bank accounts. Select "Telegraphic Transfer" as your Payee Type. You may transfer up to a daily limit of SGD 50,000 for Telegraphic Transfer via Citibank Online. For transfer above SGD 50,000, please send us a secured message via 'My Mailbox' service using the following format:

You may request your funds transfer to be done via GIRO/MEPS. GIRO (General Interbank Recurring Order) will take 3 business days for funds to effected and transferred to the receiving party with no fees involved. MEPS (Monetary Authority of Singapore Electronic Payment System) is a same day funds transfer to the receiving party with a nominal fee of SGD 5. Instructions for MEPS received before 5pm (Singapore time) will be effected on the same day, instructions received after 5pm (Singapore time) will be effected the next business day.
Yes, you may select 'other services' and setup a recurring payment from your Citibank Savings/Checking account to pay your Citibank Credit Card bills. You will only be allowed to select pay minimum or full payment.

Some or all of the services (including payments and transfers) that may be accessed through Citi Mobile or Citibank Online may not be available during our scheduled maintenance times.
